The course was well-marked and clean, with lots of rocks and roots to watch out for. The hill leading up to the aid station was a killer; it seemed to get steeper and longer as the race went on. I loved the challenge!

 RAE blew away this course. Well marked, always ready to help each and every runner. The course is technical but very runnable. I will be racing the Spaulding Woods 50K every year.

Spaulding Woods 50K is set in a beautiful area and if you want a challenging course - this is it! I highly recommend this race; amazing volunteers, stocked aid station, benefits a great resource for children and the best, most helpful and encouraging race director. Looking forward to next year!

This course was just fun, and I found myself smiling a lot throughout the day as I enjoyed the trails. The aid station was well-stocked, and the volunteers were friendly, always checking in to see if they could help whenever I came around. I will definitely look to be back.

 This race was well staffed with enthusiastic and helpful folks. Very tough technical course but doable, and it was a great experience running on that type of course. I did not make the cut off, but I will next year!

Although I didn't finish, I had a great time and met some wonderful people. Everything was very well organized, the trails were perfectly marked, the aid station was great, and the volunteers were wonderful.

Despite logging my first DNF, I had a great day! I got caught up in the race day excitement and went out too hard at the start. I had a blast and learned some lessons from this race. I will definitely be back next year!
