Five 10K loops on a technical course designed to challenge.
July 11, 2026 · Northfield, NH
Hosted on the grounds of Spaulding Academy & Family Services, a school serving children with diverse needs, the Spaulding Woods 50K unfolds across five 10K loops of tightly wound singletrack through a forested landscape.
Expect rocks, roots, and continuous elevation change throughout. There’s little room to settle in or switch off.

A course with purpose
With a limited number of runners on course, Spaulding Woods stays personal. You’re not just a bib number moving through the woods. There’s space to run your race while still sharing the trail with others throughout the day.
The five-loop format keeps you connected. You’ll pass through the start/finish area each loop, with consistent access to aid, familiar faces, and a steady flow of runners without the course feeling crowded. It’s a format that keeps runners engaged with the course, and with the place it runs through.
This course was just fun, and I found myself smiling a lot throughout the day as I enjoyed the trails. The aid station was well-stocked, and the volunteers were friendly, always checking in to see if they could help whenever I came around. I will definitely look to be back.

Although I didn't finish, I had a great time and met some wonderful people. Everything was very well organized, the trails were perfectly marked, the aid station was great, and the volunteers were wonderful.
