The Spaulding Woods 50K takes place on the grounds of Spaulding Academy & Family Services, a nonprofit organization that provides educational, residential, therapeutic, and community-based services for children and youth with neurological, emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.
Located on more than 500 acres in Northfield, New Hampshire, the campus offers a safe and supportive environment where students are given opportunities to learn, grow, and build skills for lifelong success.
Hosting the race here is a privilege, and something we’re proud to be part of. A portion of each entry supports Spaulding Academy & Family Services.
Each runner’s bib features original artwork created by students at Spaulding Academy & Family Services. The designs are drawn by hand and change each year, making every bib unique.
It’s a small detail that has become one of the most meaningful parts of the race—for runners, for volunteers, and for the students who create them.

Aid stations and volunteers are a steady presence throughout the day, offering support, encouragement, and familiarity as runners move through each loop.
Aid station operations are supported by Normandin, Cheney & O'Neil, PLLC, whose contribution helps make race-day support possible throughout the course.
Endurance fuel drink mix is provided by Formula369 and included at aid stations and in runner swag bags.
Volunteers are a big part of what makes the day work. If you’re interested in being part of it, reach out at aaron@raceawayevents.com
